And, HERE WE GO!!!!!! On June 10th, 2015, Sensative launched its first crowdfunding campaign to help raise awareness, and funds, for the launch of Strips, the world’s thinnest wireless, magnetic window and door sensor.
If you’ve been following our blogs, you know how we’ve gotten to this point. You know the amount of work we’ve done to prepare a great campaign. You know the amount of time we’ve spent learning all we can about how to create, launch and run a successful crowdfunding campaign.
You also know that it’s a scary thing and that, despite our best efforts, we are in no way guaranteed to succeed. There are different ways we’ll measure the success of the campaign and we’ll work hard to meet these goals but we simply can’t be sure that people will respond.
That’s why we’re doing all we can to raise awareness of the campaign, of Strips and about Sensative.
On the evening of the 10th, we hosted about 50 people at our headquarters for a launch party. These people are past, current ad hopefully future supporters of Sensative and our mission of making smarthome technology that makes sense. This will also give us a very public platform for which to communicate our message and a great way to start engaging people.
In the following weeks, we’ll be posting about our progress, updates and any changes made to increase the likelihood of reaching our goals. In the meantime, we’re not leaving it up to chance, we’ll continue spreading the word via social media, blogs, newspapers and other communications platforms.
As the campaign moves forward, we’ll be busy but, we’re excited and we’re ready to go!
